Markets opens higher on Greece deal

Market started on higher note tracking positive global markets post European Union approved USD 157 billion bailout package for Greece.


The Sensex is currently trading at 18,565.87 up 145.56 points and Nifty is at 5,582.95 up 40.40 points. BSE Mid-cap stood at 6,958.91 down 29.86 points and BSE S-cap stood at 8394.30 down by 38.04 points.


The top gainers on NSE indices are RCOM up 1.44% at Rs 91.75, GAIL up 1.15% at Rs 462.85, IDFC up 1.13% at Rs 138.70, Ambuja Cement up 1.11% at Rs 127.70 and Dr Reddy up 1.10% at Rs 1556.85.


The top losers on NSE is Sesagoa down 1.38% at Rs 274.20, HUL down 0.37% at Rs 332.5, BPCL down 0.22% at Rs 659.25, Cairn down 0.11% at Rs 320.45.
